1. About Planabl
Planabl is an AI-powered planning statement generator operated as a UK-based software-as-a-service product. It allows subscribers to generate draft planning supporting statements for UK planning applications using artificial intelligence.
By accessing or using Planabl at planabl.co.uk (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
2. Service Description
Planabl generates draft planning supporting statements based on information you provide. For a monthly subscription of £49, subscribers receive:
- Unlimited AI-generated planning supporting statement drafts
- Coverage of all major UK development types
- References to the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF)
- Download of statements as formatted Word (.docx) documents
A single free trial statement is available without a subscription. No account is required for the free trial.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
- Use the Service to generate content intended to deceive, mislead, or defraud any planning authority or third party
- Submit AI-generated output to a planning authority without reviewing it for accuracy and applicability
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service by automated means
- Resell or redistribute outputs generated by the Service as your own professional planning advice without appropriate qualification
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable UK law or regulation
4. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
Planabl does not warrant that:
- Outputs will be accurate, complete, or suitable for submission to any particular local planning authority
- Policy references will be current or applicable to your specific development
- Use of outputs will result in planning permission being granted
- The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
All outputs are AI-generated drafts. You are solely responsible for reviewing outputs before use and for any reliance placed on them.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Planabl shall not be liable for any:
- Loss of planning permission or adverse planning decisions
- Loss of profit, revenue, or business opportunity
- Indirect, consequential, special, or punitive loss or damage
- Loss arising from your reliance on AI-generated output without professional review
Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our total liability to you in connection with the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the three months preceding the claim.
6. Subscription and Cancellation
Subscriptions are billed monthly at £49 via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if your payment fails.
7. Intellectual Property
The text outputs generated for you through the Service are yours to use, edit, and submit as part of a planning application. Planabl retains no ownership over individual generated outputs.
The Service itself, including its code, design, branding, and underlying AI infrastructure, remains the property of Planabl and may not be copied or reproduced.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date above when changes are made.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
